Call for Papers: ANTHRO-ART Journal of Art Anthropology

We are pleased to announce the official registration of the international scholarly online journal “ANTHRO-ART: Art Anthropology” (ISSN 3079-7462) and the upcoming release of its first issue!

This journal aims to explore art anthropology research at various levels of cultural diversity, emphasizing the significance of cultural heritage, human creativity, and global exchanges in science, culture, and the arts. It seeks to analyze the interconnections between art and anthropology, conducting theoretical and practical research on art across multiple cultural dimensions while highlighting its societal impact.

Objectives:

  • To develop theoretical and methodological approaches in art anthropology and promote innovative research.
  • To study local and transnational art forms from an anthropological perspective, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to cultural and ethnographic studies.
  • To explore artistic expressions in connection with culture, traditions, and customs, enhancing understanding and knowledge.
  • To integrate the findings of art anthropology research into social and cultural policies, making them accessible to the public and applicable in education.
  • To expand international research collaborations, facilitating exchanges of theories and methodologies among scholars.

We invite researchers, artists, and enthusiasts to submit their work and contribute to the advancement of art anthropology.

The “ANTHRO-ART: Art Anthropology” journal is officially registered with an international ISSN and is supported by an editorial board that includes esteemed scholars from the United States, China, South Korea, Japan, Russia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Germany. The journal’s editorial board is led by Dr. Luvsannorov Erdenechimeg.

“ANTHRO-ART: Art Anthropology” publishes research in art studies, ethnology, linguistics, cultural anthropology, and social and natural sciences. The journal focuses on the following topics:

  • Theories of Art and Anthropology: Research on intersections between art anthropology, theoretical perspectives.
  • Cultural Heritage and Traditional Arts: Preservation, transmission, and innovative development of tangible and intangible heritage.
  • Performing and Visual Arts: Studies on traditional music, dance, theater, visual arts, film, and stage performance.
  • Visual Arts and Cultural Studies: Modern art, anthropological cinema, and symbolic studies.
  • Art Education and Social Impact: The role of art education systems and their influence on society.
  • Digital Technology and Art: Artificial intelligence, digital anthropology, and integrated research on art and technology.

Submission Guidelines

  • Language: English
  • Word Count: 6,000–10,000 words (including references and footnotes).
  • Format: Follow APA (American Psychological Association) citation style.
  • Originality: Submissions must be original research and unpublished in any other official publication.
  • Submission Email: Send articles as Word files to MongolianAAA@outlook.com, with the subject “ANTHRO-ART Submission + Author’s Name.”
  • Deadline: 2025
  • Review Process: Double-blind peer review, taking 4–6 weeks. Selected authors will receive feedback for revisions and publication preparation.
