ANTHRO-ART is an interdisciplinary academic journal dedicated to the study of art anthropology. It explores the intersection of art, culture, and human society through anthropological perspectives. The journal publishes research articles, theoretical discussions, and field studies on traditional and contemporary artistic expressions, cultural heritage, and creative practices. ANTHRO-ART aims to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to share insights and advance the discourse on art in diverse cultural contexts.

Luvsannorov Erdenechimeg Dr, professor

Editor-in-Chief

Luvsannorov Erdenechimeg, ScD, is a distinguished professor and scholar specializing in musicology, ethnomusicology, and cultural heritage studies. She has made significant contributions to Mongolian and Central Asian music research through her extensive publications and academic endeavors.

Dr. Erdenechimeg graduated from the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and later pursued advanced studies at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Indiana University. She earned her PhD with the dissertation “A Study of Morin Khuur Sound through the Yin-Yang Theory” (1993) and obtained her ScD with the thesis “The Aesthetic Harmony of Overtone Singing” (1999).

She has authored over 40 books, documented more than 600 traditional folk songs, and published over 250 academic articles. Her research plays a crucial role in the study of Mongolian music traditions, folk literature, and ritual practices.

Dr. Erdenechimeg has been recognized with numerous honors, including the “Honored Cultural Worker of Mongolia” title, the “Order of the Polar Star”, and the “Best Researcher” award from the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.

Yang Yucheng (Botuletu)Dr, professor

Lead Researcher

Yang Yucheng (Botuletu), Mongolian, is a professor, Ph.D., postdoctoral researcher, and doctoral supervisor. He has been recognized as a “Grassland Talent” in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and selected as a first-tier talent in the “New Century 321 Talent Project” of Inner Mongolia.

He serves as a researcher at the Mongolian Studies Research Center of Inner Mongolia University and as a full-time researcher at the Chinese Ritual Music Research Center of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

He is also the Vice Chairman of the Inner Mongolia Musicians Association, a Standing Council Member of the Chinese Society for Traditional Music, a Standing Council Member of the Chinese Society for Ethnic Minority Music, and the Vice President and Secretary-General of the Northern Grassland Music Culture Research Association of China.

Additionally, he is the Head of the Inner Mongolian Ethnic Music Heritage Station at the School of Arts of Inner Mongolia University and serves as the Vice Dean of the Conservatory of Music.

Research Fellow

researcher specializing in art anthropology at the National University of Mongolia. His academic interests include art philosophy, pedagogy, and AI art. He is actively engaged in exploring the intersections of art, philosophy, and education, as well as the impact of emerging technologies on artistic practice. He has participated in various academic conferences and is dedicated to advancing research in the field of art anthropology.
